Haven’t done anymore. I just woke up after my 2 nights shifts. The next 3 days here are in the 40s too

I have done a paint test tho. Changed my mind but think I have decided on new colours now. I’m not going to make the side skirts and chin spoiler, they’ll have to wait for another build.

Used the kits front spoiler so now that’s on. I might try and get up early in the next few days and get a silver base coat on this one now that it’s ready, body’s smooth, options glued on, ready to start the paint process. Silver base coat and then start the 2 tone scheme.

Here’s my paint test in the sun and shade. I’m just not happy with the light pearl red. Kinda hoped it’d be dark with the gun metal base coat but nevermind. I’m still going to use the gold yes!

Gold will give it a more of a candy colour.
Like the colours you have now.

I got some dust in 2 spots but at least it’s all one colour. I’ll fix the dust when it’s fully dry.

Another paint test. Much happier with the blue instead of light pearl red.

Try to do a thing with the wheel but I believe the chrome was too thin or I got too heavy with thinners. I ended up rubbing thru to the white plastic :x

Hard to see and get a close up but you can see where I was going with the detail. So I’ll strip these later. I have more sets of these wheels so I’ll just brush paint the centers next time
