Anyone ever built one of these RX-7s? Just trying to understand why the fuel tank has been cut off on the side opposite the spare tyre. Unless I am missing something there is no fill in piece that goes in there, there is only one exhaust and that is on the spare tyre side and all the instructions show a larger fuel tank so it has me puzzled, can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks
After finding a good source of instructions and pics of older kits. I found this which may help you. Here’s the link https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/m/10058554

A couple of pics of the underside of the rear bar after being filled with Tamiya two part epoxy putty.

Before primer:

Amazing what you can do with some sun and a day off (and half a can of primer):

Body still needs a few hours work now to smooth everything out and fill a few little holes.
